Statutory rates
Dental rates in the Netherlands are set annually by the Dutch Healthcare Authority (NZa). Every dentist uses the same tariffs, so you always pay a fair price.
Estimate up front
For any treatment above 250 euro you receive a written estimate. We go through it with you so you know exactly what to expect before we start.
Supplementary insurance
Adult dental care is not covered by the basic Dutch insurance. With supplementary dental insurance many treatments are fully or partly reimbursed. We are happy to help you read the fine print.
Children up to 18
Dental care for children up to 18 is fully covered by the basic insurance. Check-ups, fillings and preventive advice, without deductible.
Reimbursement in short
Basic insurance
For adults the basic insurance only covers specialist dental care, oral surgery and (part of) full dentures. For children up to 18 most regular care is covered.
Supplementary dental insurance
Reimbursement depends on your policy. Typical coverage ranges from 250 to 1250 euro per year, sometimes with a maximum per treatment.
Payment via Infomedics
Invoices are sent by our billing partner Infomedics. They also arrange direct settlement with your insurer where possible.
