Bad breath
Bad breath feels uncomfortable and is often stubborn. In most cases the cause is in the mouth itself: bacteria on the tongue, between molars or in inflamed gums. We investigate and treat, rather than mask.

Possible causes
Common ones are:
- Coating on the tongue
- Inflamed gums
- Deep cavities or leaking fillings
- Dry mouth
- Stomach or throat issues (less often)
What we do
We examine mouth, tongue and teeth, treat what we find and give advice for a clean, fresh mouth. Results are usually noticeable within a few weeks.
You might recognise this too
Dry mouth
A lasting dry feeling in the mouth, often caused by medication or reduced saliva.
Grinding and clenching
Unconsciously pressing or sliding the jaw, often at night. Wears the teeth and causes pain.
Tooth wear
Enamel wears down through acidic drinks, grinding or age. Early intervention preserves your own tooth.
